Yael, the wife of actor Tuvia Tzafir , who managed his career for years, has been struggling with PSP in recent years.

About two weeks ago, the family, who share her heroic fight against the disease on social media, celebrated her birthday around her bed. Tuvia even took a picture next to Yael while she was in the treatment bed, and wished her Mazal Tov: "Birthday celebrations for my Yael. The whole family came for an exciting meeting together with the talented singer Daniel Weiss , who sang and made our time enjoyable. Lots of Mazal Tov and a happy birthday!"

In a joint letter, the couple said: "After 26 years of being together and establishing an exemplary family, we have chosen to separate together. We are different people than we were when we met, and with all the pain that comes with it, we have decided to part ways amicably. We have built a magnificent home and raised four angels who are our whole lives, and we are parting ways with respect, appreciation, and concern for each other. Together we built ourselves and, God willing, we will continue to maintain our family and mutual respect. We are grateful for everything that has happened and intend to maintain our good relationship even as we go our separate ways."
