13-year-old boy in serious condition after falling from horse at nursery

A 13-year-old boy is in serious condition after falling from a horse near a plant nursery on Friday. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (Israel’s national ambulance service) provided emergency medical treatment at the scene before transporting him to Galilee Medical Centre in Nahariya. The teenager was unconscious when he arrived at the hospital. The circumstances of the fall are still being assessed. Equestrian activities, whilst generally safe when properly supervised, do carry inherent risks, particularly for young riders who may have less experience or ability to react quickly in unexpected situations.
