Israel has agreed to extend its joint government and military aid mission in Venezuela for a further two weeks, following a request from the country’s interim president Dalsly Rodríguez. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the extension today after coordinating with Foreign Minister Israel Katz. The Israeli delegation, comprising personnel from the Foreign Ministry and the Israel Defence Forces, has been providing humanitarian assistance to the crisis-stricken South American nation. The extension will allow the team to continue relief operations in Venezuela, which has been grappling with severe economic and political instability in recent years. The decision reflects Israel’s ongoing commitment to providing emergency support to nations facing humanitarian challenges.
