Germany charges 7 suspected Hamas members over planned terror attack

Breaking

German prosecutors have charged seven suspected Hamas members accused of plotting a terror attack timed around the October 7 anniversary, according to Times of Israel reporting. The men are alleged to have acted on orders from senior Hamas figures.

Authorities say three of the suspects were in possession of an automatic rifle, 13 pistols and approximately 700 rounds of ammunition. The planned attack was reportedly intended to target locations in Germany or Austria.

This case represents a significant security concern for European authorities monitoring Hamas operational capabilities and recruitment networks outside the Middle East, particularly in the lead-up to sensitive anniversaries.
