US officials have confirmed reports that Iran has recently shot down at least two MQ-1 American military drones, according to the Jerusalem Post. The claims follow assertions by Iran’s state broadcaster, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), that Iran shot down an MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday.
