2,500 gather to mark October 7 massacre anniversary, demand state inquiry

Residents from southern Israel communities, bereaved families and attack survivors convened at Carbonate Forest on the third anniversary of the assault to demand truth and accountability. Local council heads called for establishing a state investigation committee, with Ashkelon Council chair noting 752 babies have been born in the region since October 7.
