Two Israeli soldiers found safe in Golan after losing radio contact, rescue operation initiated

Breaking

Two Israeli soldiers were located safely after losing radio contact with their unit in the Golan Heights. Volunteers from the Golan Rescue Unit were activated around 4 AM following reports of the soldiers’ disappearance, and established a forward command post in the Gilbon riverbed.

A police helicopter located the soldiers within a short timeframe. The incident appears to have resulted from loss of radio communication rather than any security threat. The soldiers were subsequently retrieved and the situation was resolved.
