About 140 vessels left today (Tuesday) from the marina in Herzliya for the traditional flotilla on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the State of Israel. The vessels began their route on the shores of Herzliya, north of the marina, and from there they will continue south to the shores of Tel Aviv. This is against the backdrop of the Air Force aircraft.

Social organizations also take part in the civil flotilla. In his congratulatory remarks at the launch of the flotilla, Herzliya Mayor Moshe Padlon said: "The flotilla is our salute as a coastal city to the State of Israel, the time has come for all of Israel to be Arabs to each other."
The flotilla was organized by the Herzliya Marina team, the Herzliya Tourism Development Company and sailing organizations. It is expected that tens of thousands will witness it at the same time as the aerial flight. The CEO of the Municipal Cracking Company in Herzliya noted: "The traditional flotilla is an example and a symbol of the connection of the various Israeli audiences and the strength of the State of Israel at sea, in the air and on land."
