Last week, an indictment and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings were filed against a lawyer who delivered drugs to a prisoner at the Ohli Kidar Detention Center. According to the indictment, the defendant who served as an active member of the Bar Association conspired together with that prisoner to commit a crime, by supplying him with cocaine-type drugs. As part of the meeting that took place between the accused and the prisoner inside the prison, in a room designated for lawyers' visits, the accused handed him dangerous drugs of the cocaine type weighing 2.49 grams under the table.
Immediately after the transfer of the drugs, the SHBS guards arrested the accused and he was brought to the Beer Sheva station for questioning.
