After being hit by a rocket: the electric company restored a power line near the strip

A direct hit by a rocket to an overhead power line in Moshav Takuma near the Gaza Strip, causing damage to the line that supplies electricity to several cities in the south. An optical fiber connecting the company's stations was also damaged.

During the weekend, the company's teams worked in the field under live fire from rocket barrages and alarms, to restore the line and re-use it and restore the communication infrastructure between the company's stations and private stations to enable renewed control over the regulation of commercial electricity. This complex operation, which was carried out as mentioned under difficult conditions and under rocket fire, was successfully completed and enabled the continued supply of electricity available to the residents of the south.
