Guy Peleg opened his program on 103FM today (Tuesday) with a reference to the prosecutor's objection to mediation in the Netanyahu trial. "Reports in a news release require a kind of restraint, a certain level of language, usually it is very buttoned and measured, and I will allow myself in the program here to say the Things are different. In other words, as I understand it, the Legal Adviser to the Government told Netanyahu's lawyers, 'I have no head for sketches,'" explained Peleg.

He also emphasized that "it is clear to me that the prosecutor's office will agree to delete the bribery clause, will agree to compromise on the defendant's conviction for fraud and breach of trust, on actual imprisonment as well as on probation, and I even have the impression that they will agree to amend the indictment in such a way that the defendant can maintain his honor, that he can appear In front of his friends, for example, on Channel 14 and say, 'For such trifles they wanted to overthrow a sitting prime minister.'"

Peleg concluded: "In other words, she is saying, 'You want to talk about a settlement? You don't need a judge to mediate and you don't need to stop the trial. The staff here is very skilled, you negotiated with them, you can go back to the negotiating chair. If the accused is willing to admit something, let me understand why and we will consider. If not, let the trial continue as it has been for over three years."
