After the date of voting for the Knesset representatives in the Committee for the Selection of Judges was announced, on Wednesday in about two weeks, the "Maariv" poll examined the representative preferred by surfers from the opposition side – and found that it was Karin Elharar from 'Yesh Atid' who received 38.5% of the votes. Panina Tamno Sheta from the 'state camp' won 33.3% of the votes, and at the bottom was Efrat Reiten from Labor with 28.2%.
As you may recall, opposition leader Yair Lapid wrote in a post he uploaded on social media: "The opposition cannot destroy itself again. I call on my members in the opposition not to split the votes and stand behind Karin Elharer as our representative in the committee for the selection of judges. It would be unthinkable to give Levin and Rothman such a gift and split the vote."
