The National Security Council recommends avoiding arrival and participation in events and gatherings identified with Israel – meetings in synagogues, arrival at businesses identified with Israel, unnecessary gatherings at the airport, as well as mass events identified with Israel. Employees of Israeli companies are asked not to arrive at offices or facilities known to be related to Israeli activity. No transit flights are allowed in the United Arab Emirates.
The situation with flights to/from the United Arab Emirates is unstable and subject to frequent change. The increased number of flights to repatriate Israelis from the United Arab Emirates to Israel is expected to end on Sunday, March 15.
In the event of a drone attack, you should listen and act according to the instructions of the security forces. It is preferable to stay in a protected place – immediately enter a nearby building and take the stairs to the second floor, and not stay on the entrance floor for fear of the debris and shrapnel. You should enter an interior space surrounded by as many walls and as few windows as possible, sit below the line of windows and not in front of the door. If you cannot reach the building or in the event of an explosion near you – you should immediately lie down on the ground and protect your head with your hands. Passengers in a vehicle should stop safely on the side of the road and lie down on the ground.
The National Security Council operates a hotline for questions regarding travel warnings in terrorist contexts only: telephone 026667444, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. For questions regarding flights, please contact the Ministry of Transportation hotline *4515. For reports of Israelis in distress or questions not related to terrorism, please contact the Foreign Ministry's Situation Center, which is active 24/7: telephone 02-5303155 or WhatsApp 050-5073969.
