Big Brother takes an unprecedented step: this is what will happen to the ultra-Orthodox tenant Yanki on Shabbat

Last night the tenant Yanki Goldhaber entered as the first ultra-Orthodox to enter the "Big Brother" house in the entire history of the program. However, quite a few issues related to his faith conflict with the reality show format. As we know, the residents of the house are attached to a microphone 24/7 and are recorded and photographed in the live broadcast of Channel 26, and as mentioned, Shomer Shabbat will grant what he is forbidden by religious laws to connect to electrical devices.

However, Big Brother prepared accordingly and in an unusual move decided to allow the tenant not to be connected to the microphone on Shabbat. As Itzik Ohana reports from "Kirar HaShabbat", Big Brother allowed Yanki not to connect to the microphone on Shabbat so that he would not have to desecrate Shabbat. Also, the ultra-orthodox tenant will be exempt from duties on Shabbat, although it will be photographed and documented 24/7.
