Called by the neighbors: the balcony of MK Almog Cohen's house caught fire

The balcony of Knesset member Almog Cohen (Otzma Yehudit) in Ofakim caught fire today (Wednesday), while Cohen and his family were outside their home.

The member of the Knesset was called to his home by his neighbors, after they saw the balcony on the first floor burning with fire. Cohen reported the incident to the police and the rescue teams who arrived with him at the apartment. The Israel Police is investigating the incident and checking what caused the fire to break out. However, it was reported that now there is no immediate fear of arson.

Knesset member Cohen said: "I'm glad it only ended with property, luckily no one was hurt." I put my trust in the Israeli police and the fire department to do their job faithfully, Happy Independence Day to the wonderful people of Israel.'
