Israel’s Transportation Ministry reported early Sunday that a crisis involving flight restrictions in Dubai has been partially resolved, though complications remain. While the UAE reconsidered its restrictions on Israeli carriers, operations remain constrained with significant delays and conditions.
El Al announced that flights will resume from next week, while Arkia is attempting to operate flights today with strict limitations. The Transportation Ministry cited the need for “completion of preparations and coordination” for the delays.
Passengers face restrictions including prohibition on bringing trolleys and luggage as standard procedures, indicating ongoing security and operational concerns. The partial resolution follows heightened tensions but suggests diplomatic negotiations have yielded some progress on aviation access.
