Five injured in West Bank shooting attack; two gunmen killed

Breaking

A shooting attack near Yehuda Junction in the West Bank left five people wounded, including two in critical condition, according to Times of Israel and Israel Hayom reports. IDF forces responded by eliminating two gunmen at the scene and launched sweeping operations in the area amid concerns about a possible third attacker.

Paramedics described dramatic scenes as wounded civilians were evacuated to armoured ambulances. IDF units including Duvdevan forces, Border Police, and aerial assets were mobilised to the area, and a security closure was imposed on several villages in the region as a precaution.

The incident highlights ongoing security tensions in the West Bank. Separately, Israel announced plans to deport 11 foreign activists allegedly involved in an uncoordinated olive harvest operation in the territory.
