Yevgeny Yordanov, a gymnastics coach already facing multiple sexual assault charges involving two young athletes, is now under investigation for additional misconduct allegations involving two further victims. The coach has been ordered released on relaxed bail conditions by the court, which found insufficient evidence to suggest he poses a flight risk or would interfere with the investigation. Police are reportedly preparing to appeal the decision. Yordanov’s defence lawyer has questioned the feasibility of the alleged actions, suggesting the accusations are physically implausible based on the circumstances described. The coach was previously accused of committing sexual offences against two underage gymnasts who trained under his supervision at his facility.
