IDF implements emergency exit restrictions ahead of elections; reinforcements deployed to Judea and Samaria

Breaking

The IDF Chief of Staff has ordered an exceptional lockdown on military movements beginning Friday, ahead of elections scheduled for Tuesday. The measure is designed to ensure elections proceed as scheduled in a secure manner, according to military leadership.

In addition to the exit restrictions affecting all units, the IDF will deploy reinforced forces to the area between Samaria and Benjamin. The Chief of Staff conducted a situational assessment in preparation for election day and confirmed these security arrangements.

Prime Minister Netanyahu released a video from an Air Force base stating: “We have the readiness and capability to strike our enemies the moment it is required.” The military mobilisation appears aimed at both securing the election process and maintaining operational readiness against potential threats.
