Iran reports multiple strikes across country as US military aircraft detected in airspace

Iranian news agency Tasnim has reported explosions in several cities following what it describes as American airstrikes. Two blasts were reported in the southern Iranian cities of Lar and Darab, located in Fars Province, according to the agency’s Friday report. The incidents mark part of a wider pattern of reported attacks affecting multiple regions across Iran.

Additional strikes have been reported in Bandar Abbas, a major port city also in southern Iran, as well as a fresh wave of attacks reported in Yazd, located in the country’s central region. US military aircraft have been observed flying over the airspace of at least one of the affected cities, according to local reports.

The reports come amid escalating tensions in the region, with multiple Iranian cities experiencing what authorities describe as coordinated military action. The scope of the reported incidents—spanning from Iran’s southern coastline to its central provinces—suggests a significant military operation, though full details remain unclear.
