TUS's announcement joins a series of announcements by international airlines in recent days. Among others, Emirati airline Etihad Airways announced yesterday (Friday) that it will resume the route between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi starting April 15, with two daily flights in the first phase.
Low-cost carrier Wizz Air also announced that it has gradually reopened ticket sales for flights to and from Tel Aviv, starting April 25, subject to developments and international safety guidelines. In addition, British Airways is expected to resume operations in Israel on July 1, initially with just one daily flight, instead of two before the suspension of operations.
The Greek airline Blue Bird announced that it will resume its flights to and from Israel starting tomorrow (Sunday), and will operate a direct route between Tel Aviv and Athens.
