Missing Israeli youth suspected of hit-and-run as police investigation intensifies

Maxim Braverman, Dayan’s associate, has been arrested on suspicion of driving the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run and of obstructing the police investigation. Braverman’s detention has been extended by six days as officers continue to question him about his role in the incident and his knowledge of Dayan’s current whereabouts. Prosecutors are building a case against him based on evidence gathered during the initial stages of their inquiry.

The investigation has expanded beyond the two men initially connected to the case, with a third suspect expected to face questioning in the coming days. Police are appealing for information from members of the public who may have witnessed the hit-and-run incident or who have any knowledge of Dayan’s location. Investigators are treating the case with urgency given the seriousness of leaving an accident scene without providing assistance to any potential victims.
