Netanyahu leads but falls short of majority as Israeli election count continues

With 77% of votes counted in Israel’s 26th Knesset elections, Netanyahu’s bloc holds 54 seats while the opposing bloc gains ground with 49 seats, leaving neither camp with the 61-seat majority needed to form government. Arab parties declined to 17 seats as counting continued across the partial results. Multiple Israeli sources reported the ongoing tally as neither coalition achieved governing majority.
