Nursery owner and staff charged with assaulting and abusing toddlers at Tel Aviv facility

Two indictments have been filed against the owner of a Tel Aviv nursery called ‘Gan Chiyuchim’ (Garden of Smiles) and two childcare assistants, accused of attacking and abusing young children in their care. The serious charges follow an investigation into alleged mistreatment at the facility. According to the indictment, one of the assistants caused a toddler to suffer a fractured arm during incidents at the nursery. The prosecution has requested that all three defendants be banned from working with minors pending trial. The case has sparked concern among parents about safeguarding standards at childcare facilities across Israel.
