Palestinian Authority delays legislative elections scheduled for November

Deputy chairman Hussein al-Sheikh informed France of the delay, which will span several months. The announcement comes after Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Dahlan announced an alliance against PA president Mahmoud Abbas, undermining his earlier commitment to French President Macron to hold democratic elections.
