The suspect, who was riding the stolen vehicle, attempted to evade police as they pursued him through the city. According to police statements, the man’s reckless driving posed a serious risk to both public safety and the officers involved in the operation. Following the shooting, the suspect was wounded and subsequently arrested at the scene. He is being held for further questioning regarding the motive behind the alleged theft and the circumstances that led to the dramatic chase through the city streets.
