Saudi Arabia intercepts ballistic missiles and drones fired by Houthis

Breaking

The Saudi-led coalition announced it intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by Houthi forces targeting the city of Khamis Mushait in southwestern Saudi Arabia, according to Reuters reports on Sunday evening.

In a separate incident the same night, coalition forces also intercepted and destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) in the Riyadh region, though additional details about the drone’s origin remain unclear at this stage.

These interceptions represent continued Houthi attacks on Saudi territory despite ongoing military operations by the coalition, underscoring the persistent security threat posed by the Iran-backed militant group in the region.
