Three people, including a seven-year-old child in moderate condition, were struck by a vehicle in Baqa al-Gharbiyye on Saturday. The child sustained injuries to his limbs and was transported to Hillel Yaffe Medical Centre, along with two other injured individuals who sustained lighter injuries.
Medical crews from Magen David Adom (Israel’s national ambulance service) provided emergency treatment at the scene before evacuating the casualties to hospital. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, though investigations are ongoing.
Baqa al-Gharbiyye is a predominantly Arab town in the northern Wadi Ara region of Israel. Incidents involving vehicle collisions in the area are not uncommon, with traffic safety remaining an ongoing concern for local authorities.
