"Superhero for an eight-year-old boy": a protest activist attacked Miki Zohar's son?

An unusual confrontation developed between Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar Legal Rambam, a protest activist whose parents live near the minister's house. In a tweet published by Zohar, he accused Rambam of attacking his little eight-year-old son.

"Get to know me – on the right in the photo is my son, Daniel Zohar, on the left is my neighbors' son, Yigal Rambam, 45 years old. On the eve of the last Shavuot holiday, my son's ball flew into the neighbors' garden while the neighbors' lovely son came for a holiday visit at his parents' house," he wrote .

At this point, Zohar moved to the harsh accusations against the Rambam: "My little son approached and asked for his ball back, the reaction of Yigal "the brave" Rambam, an extreme leftist activist and one of the leaders of the anti-right-wing protestors, was not long in coming – he violently pushed the son My little Daniel told him he wouldn't get his ball back. (A complaint was filed with the police, the man was interrogated and removed from me and my family)."

"Where have we come? A 45-year-old man attacks an 8-year-old boy because of his father's political views. Simply ridiculous," he accused, adding: "But it's important for you to know that our Daniel, we didn't flinch, he stood up straight in front of him and told him. I'm not afraid of you and your violence, you will return I have the ball."

In response, Rambam denied the words, and attacked Zohar again: "The senior soldier in Netanyahu's criminal organization – he is the one who organized a demonstration against me outside my parents' house. After he and/or his family members threatened, attacked and filed a false complaint with the police. There are those who will call it threats, as the last act of the perpetrators – they are probably right." In addition to this, Rambam even sent a warning letter before suing Minister Zohar a short time ago.

Among other things, the letter states: "These things, as well as other things you wrote in the tweet, are blatant lies and amount to defamation as defined in the law prohibiting defamation. The fact that you chose to use your little son as a tool in order to promote a political agenda and attack my client is a sickening act in itself that deserves For any condemnation, but know that my client does not intend to remain silent against defamation, as well as against the fact that you consciously chose to use the Likud poison mechanism against my client, and the results were not long in coming."
