Three arrested after violent outburst forces flight delay at Ben Gurion Airport

A Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt was held at the gate on Friday evening just minutes before departure after three young men allegedly created a disturbance aboard the aircraft. The passengers, identified as two brothers from Jaffa and their friend from Bat Yam, are suspected of refusing to comply with cabin crew instructions and becoming aggressive with airport police. The incident brought the departure to a standstill as officers were forced to intervene.

According to reports, the men became increasingly disruptive within the cabin, turning the passenger area into a confrontational scene with security personnel from Ben Gurion Airport. Their refusal to follow standard aviation safety procedures and crew directions prompted staff to alert airport police, who responded to the scene.

The three suspects were arrested at the scene on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assault against police officers. The flight was subsequently cleared for takeoff after the passengers were removed from the aircraft. The incident is part of an ongoing pattern of passenger disturbances at Israeli airports, prompting renewed focus on aviation security protocols and passenger behaviour standards.
