Three-year-old girl injured after fall in southern Israel

A three-year-old girl has been hospitalised after falling from a height of approximately two metres in the Shgev Shalom area on Saturday. Emergency responders from Magen David Adom (Israel’s national ambulance service) provided initial medical treatment at a local clinic in the area before transferring her to Soroka Medical Centre in Be’er Sheva. The child sustained injuries to her limbs and is reported to be in moderate condition. The circumstances of the fall are currently unclear, though such incidents are not uncommon among young children, particularly during warm weather months when more outdoor activities take place. Doctors at Soroka Medical Centre are continuing to monitor her condition.
