Trump rules out immediate military strike on Iran as Netanyahu warns of existential threat

Breaking

US President Donald Trump has stated there will be no strike on Iran on Sunday, while simultaneously asserting that the US is actively monitoring Iranian nuclear facilities including the Pickaxe Mountain site and three additional locations allegedly damaged in previous operations.

The statement comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Israel faces an imminent existential threat, signalling continued tensions between Israel and Iran over nuclear programme concerns.

Trump’s announcement, while ruling out an immediate strike, does not preclude future military action. According to reports, the US administration is considering additional military measures that could include economic and energy sector targets, reflecting an ongoing strategy to pressure Iran despite ruling out an immediate kinetic response.
