Two people were injured in a road traffic accident on Route 90 near Qalia on Tuesday, following a collision between a car and a lorry. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics attended the scene and provided medical treatment to both casualties.
A 22-year-old woman was evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in moderate condition, whilst a second injured person was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries. Both patients are understood to be receiving appropriate medical care following the incident.
Route 90, which runs along the eastern border of Israel near the Dead Sea, is a major thoroughfare that frequently sees significant traffic. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear at this stage.
