Two separate road accidents across Israel have left victims with serious injuries this week. A teenager aged 18 suffered severe injuries in a collision between two private vehicles on the road between Tayibe and Kalanswa, whilst a 28-year-old man was hit by a car on Route 77 near Pouria Junction.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom attended both scenes, providing initial medical treatment before transporting the victims to hospital. The 18-year-old, conscious but with head and limb injuries, was taken to Meir Hospital, whilst the 28-year-old, also conscious with similar injuries to his head and limbs, was rushed to Poriya Medical Centre.
Both patients remain hospitalised as they receive ongoing treatment for their injuries. The incidents highlight the ongoing road safety concerns across Israel’s transport network.
