Voters wary of AI-generated campaign content, survey finds

A Bar-Ilan University survey reveals that approximately 40% of Israeli voters have rejected a party or candidate due to artificially generated content used in campaigns. While 85% of voters were exposed to AI-generated material during the election period, only 17% trust chatbot responses for political information, despite nearly half using them for advice. The findings highlight growing public concern about AI’s role in electoral manipulation.
