Israel is set for a mixed weekend weather pattern, with temperatures slightly below seasonal averages today before conditions shift noticeably warmer. Meteorologists are predicting a gradual warming trend that will accelerate significantly on Saturday, with substantial increases in heat stress expected.
Today’s cooler-than-normal conditions will provide temporary relief for much of the country, though the respite will be short-lived. The overnight period into Friday is likely to see the mildest conditions of the weekend.
From Saturday onwards, temperatures are forecast to rise considerably, with Saturday marking a particularly pronounced shift towards hotter weather. Sunday and Monday will continue the warming trend, with further temperature increases expected as the weekend progresses and moves into the early part of the following week.
The forecast suggests a typical late-spring or early-summer pattern emerging, with the more comfortable early-weekend conditions giving way to heat that could be challenging for outdoor activities and may require increased caution regarding heat-related health risks.
