The body of Anastasia Brzezovska has been discovered near Kyiv, Ukraine, a week after a bomb explosion in Monaco injured Russian oligarch Vadim Yermolaev, his partner and their 13-year-old son at their luxury residence. Brzezovska is believed to have planted the explosive device in a bag, detonated it remotely, and fled the scene wearing a distinctive large black hat. The incident occurred at what locals refer to as the “Sun Palace” in the principality, injuring three people in the attack. International police organisation Interpol had issued an arrest warrant for Brzezovska in connection with the bombing. Ukrainian authorities have detained two suspects in connection with her death, including an officer from Ukraine’s defence ministry. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.
