A 30-year-old woman was seriously injured in a violent incident in Ramla on Tuesday evening. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national ambulance service, provided emergency medical care at the scene before transferring her to Shamir Medical Centre (Assaf Harofeh Hospital).
According to MDA paramedic Lihi Golan and emergency medical technician Meir Avibi, the woman was found lying on the pavement with penetrating injuries to her body. “When we arrived at the scene, the woman was lying on the pavement suffering from penetrating wounds across her body,” they said. “We provided initial treatment, which included stopping the bleeding and administering medication, before evacuating her in an intensive care ambulance to hospital.”
The patient’s condition was described as serious and unstable upon arrival at the hospital. Details surrounding the circumstances of the attack have not yet been disclosed by authorities.
