Worker seriously injured in Kiryat factory accident

A 32-year-old worker sustained moderate to serious injuries on Sunday while operating machinery at a factory in the Naaman industrial zone in Kiryat Yam, located in the Haifa region of northern Israel. Emergency responders from Magen David Adom (Israel’s ambulance service) arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical treatment to the injured man. He was subsequently transported to Rambam Health Care Campus, a major medical centre in Haifa, for further treatment and evaluation. The exact nature of his injuries and the circumstances surrounding the accident are still being assessed by workplace safety authorities.
