A 62-year-old man has been hospitalised in good condition after collapsing during services at a synagogue in Kiryat Malachi, a town in southern Israel, on Sunday. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (Israel’s ambulance service) who arrived at the scene provided immediate medical treatment and performed life-saving resuscitation procedures on the man after he lost consciousness. Following his collapse, emergency responders administered a defibrillator shock to restore his heartbeat, which successfully resumed. The man was then transported by intensive care ambulance to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod, where he remains conscious with stable vital signs. Medical staff at the hospital report that he is in good condition and responding well to initial treatment.
