A 16-year-old boy sustained serious injuries on Thursday whilst riding an electric scooter in Kibbutz Ga’ash in southern Israel. Paramedics from Magen David Adom provided emergency medical care at the scene before transferring him to Barzilai Medical Centre in Ashkelon. The teenager was suffering from a significant head injury at the time of his transfer.
The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns surrounding the use of electric scooters among young people in Israel. Emergency services did not immediately disclose further details about how the accident occurred or the circumstances leading to the collision.
