A significant fire broke out on Saturday in an open area behind the Big Fashion Outlet shopping centre in Birka, with multiple sources reporting the blaze is spreading rapidly due to strong winds towards nearby residential buildings.

Ynet reported an enormous black smoke cloud visible from the scene, while Walla and Israel Hayom confirmed the fire’s trajectory towards residential structures and the deployment of numerous firefighting teams.
