Netanyahu vows ‘no Hamas rule’ in Gaza at October 7 state ceremony

Breaking

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a formal statement at a state ceremony marking October 7, declaring that there will be ‘no Hamas rule’ in Gaza and that ‘anyone involved in attack against us, held our hostages living on borrowed time’ will face consequences.

The declaration comes as Israel continues military operations in Gaza following the October 7 attack. Netanyahu’s statement represents an official government position on the future governance of Gaza.

President Herzog also addressed the ceremony, hinting at a potential state probe and warning that Israel ‘cannot ignore internal, external signs of trouble’, suggesting concerns about both security vulnerabilities and internal divisions.
