A Delta Airlines flight departing from New York to Israel has been delayed following a report of a bomb threat on the aircraft.

This marks the second bomb threat incident to affect flights to Israel today. An earlier incident this morning resulted in no suspicious items being found, and passengers were rapidly evacuated from that flight.

Authorities are investigating both incidents. Such threats have become increasingly common on flights to Israel in recent months, reflecting heightened security concerns.
