Israeli police arrested four minors from the Al-Tur neighbourhood in East Jerusalem on suspicion of throwing firebombs (Molotov cocktails) at Jewish homes in the eastern part of the city. The arrests were made on Saturday following police investigation by Jerusalem District officers and Magav (Border Police) units.
According to police reports, the four suspects were documented during the commission of the attacks and subsequently identified and located through investigative work. The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court extended their detention until Wednesday, 4 November, pending further proceedings.
The incident reflects ongoing tensions in mixed neighbourhoods of East Jerusalem and the continued security concerns regarding attacks on Israeli civilians in these areas.
