Trump threatens imminent US military strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites

Breaking

US President Donald Trump stated that the United States is prepared to strike Iran’s nuclear programme “in ten minutes” following discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump claimed there are “one or two sites” requiring attention, including what he referred to as Pickaxe Mountain, and that the US has a detailed plan for rapid execution of such strikes.

The statement comes amid escalating tensions over Iran’s nuclear programme and follows reports of ongoing talks between US and Israeli officials aimed at preventing further military confrontation. Iranian security officials have reportedly indicated Tehran is considering lifting its ban on nuclear weapons development in response to the threats.

Times of Israel reports that the Trump-Netanyahu call specifically addressed preparations for renewed strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, with the US president emphasising the speed and readiness of potential military action. The announcement represents a significant escalation in rhetoric surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme and demonstrates close coordination between Washington and Jerusalem on this critical security issue.
