They stole a car and collided with a car: two Halhol residents were arrested after shooting at them

Two Palestinian residents of Halhol, aged 18 and 26, were arrested this morning at the end of a chase accompanied by gunfire. This was after they did not heed the calls to them to stop, they continued trying to escape the area, and only after shots were fired at the wheels of the vehicle, the chase ended and they were arrested.

During the night, police forces noticed two suspects inside a vehicle that aroused their suspicion. A quick check showed that the vehicle was stolen from the central area. The driver of the car did not respond to the policemen's calls to stop, and continued to drive wildly while hitting the police car in an attempt to escape. In response, one of the officers fired one shot at the vehicle's wheels. The vehicle was stopped and the two suspects who were in it were arrested after they attacked the police officers in an attempt to resist their arrest.

One of the suspects was released under restrictive conditions at the end of his investigation. At the end of the investigation of the second suspect, it will be decided whether he will be brought before the court for the extension of his detention.
