"They understand only power": the Iranian foreign minister was recorded in the border area with Israel

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdallahian conducted a tour today (Friday) as part of his visit to Lebanon, on the Lebanese side of the border with Israel, near the village of Maroon al-Ras. In a video published in the media in Iran, Abdullahian is seen planting a tree and then receiving explanations while observing the border area. It was also reported that the Iranian Foreign Minister was shown the remains of an Israeli drone that was allegedly shot down in 2006.

At the end of the meeting Abdullahian said that "I received from Nasrallah accurate situation assessments and confirmations that the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance are in the best condition they have ever been. All positive developments in the region will lead to the collapse of the Zionist entity, they only understand strength. We support the resistance and the struggle with the Zionist enemy. Iran will remain with Lebanon even in the days difficult. Our region is entering a new phase of cooperation."

Even earlier, the Iranian Foreign Minister met with Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah in the presence of the Iranian ambassador in Beirut. According to reports, Nasrallah Abdallahian discussed "the latest developments in the region, and especially the issue of the Iranian-Saudi agreement and its effects on the countries of the region." Abdullahian landed in Beirut last Wednesday after finishing his visit to Oman. During his visit, the Iranian minister praised the bilateral ties between Tehran and Beirut and said that he has "suggestions and innovations aimed at improving the situation in Lebanon." He emphasized that his visit to Beirut is a declaration of "Iran's strong support for the people, the army and the resistance in Lebanon", and noted that Iran has "always supported negotiations in the region", and that it "does not consider war as a solution".
