EIT Manufacturing, which promotes the manufacturing industry for the benefit of economic, social and environmental sustainability of Europe, will hold BoostUp in Israel! 2023 – Israel Edition, a program for start-up companies in the fields of advanced industries that helps them penetrate the European market and work with the leading corporations in the field.
The program in Israel is held in collaboration with EIT Hub Israel, the Israeli branch of the Innovation Institute of the European Union, the Ministry of Economy, the venture capital fund SIBF, and II4. Registration for the program ends on May 15 and is intended for leading Israeli start-up companies engaged in production and advanced industries that are at the Scale stage in the fields of logistics technologies, maintenance, data analysis, advanced sensors (Industrial IoT), IoT connectivity and infrastructure, advanced manufacturing solutions, cyber-security industrial and more.
The culminating event of the program will take place on July 9 in Be'er Sheva at the SIBF offices, and at its center will be a pitch competition in front of investors and key players in the manufacturing industry from Europe and Israel and in front of a panel of judges made up of senior experts. The six start-up companies that win the competition will receive a cash prize worth up to 2,500 euros in order to start their entry into the European market and an invitation to participate in a road show for 3 days in Italy, which is considered the second largest industrial market in Europe with 16% of the sales of industrial production on the continent, as part of which they will hold meetings with potential customers . Among other things, the winners will meet with the associations of the leading companies in the fields of engines and packaging in Bologna, in the fields of electronics, mechanics and metals in Bergamo and in the fields of transportation and space in Turin.
At the same time in Israel, two programs BoostUp! 2023 more are also held in Ireland and Eastern Europe. All companies accepted into the program will receive assistance and mentoring from the best experts of the knowledge and technology community EIT Manufacturing.
