A new political conflict? Merav Michaeli was asked to take a picture with Lihya Lapid – and rudely refused

Last night a launch premiere was held for the new yes drama series "Alf". Among the guests, the Knesset member and new mother, Merav Michaeli , who gave birth to a second son, Alon , stood out a month ago. Michaeli took a short break from her role as a mother to the two little boys and came to support the creators of the series.

Also present at the event was Lihya Lapid, the wife of opposition leader Yair Lapid . An unpleasant incident occurred between the two when Michali was asked to take a picture next to Lapid and refused, preferring a public relations picture alone. According to those present at the scene, the way Michaeli did it was "really ugly and offensive", and apparently Shalapid heard the comment, but chose to ignore it.

However, Michali said: "At the event, no proposal for a joint photo was made, and therefore the claims of refusal are simply not true. Later in the evening, I talked and hugged Lihya Lapid, and I was happy to see that she came to this important event."

Also present were Yaakov Zada , who plays the president of Medina in the series, Irit Bendak, Israel Oglebo, Linoi Bar Gefen, Little Schwartz, Hadar Levy, Gil Sassover and others.
